We left Tahoe on Saturday morning, was so sad saying bye to everyone : ( Rich and I only managed one more day of filming, but here are some screen shots taken from the footage

We arranged a BBQ down at the lake for our last afternoon, but it was bloody freezing!!!

So we moved it up to the Ozzy boys house as they were the “experts” in BBQs……. although im sure there was not supposed to be this much fire whilst cooking????!!!

Got carried away and started setting fire to other items……

Next morning set off for San Fran to catch our flight. Manage to get in a half hour of tanning outside the airport

Now we are back in the UK. I have a week chilling at Rich’s house with his family, then hopefully out to Mayrhofen to ride Hintertux for a couple weeks

Here is a mini mini edit from Northstar, made from some left over footage I had. It’s not amazing I’m afraid but just a couple laps filmed one afternoon in snowy Tahoe on Feesh’s GoPro!!! There will be proper edit at the end of the season, with hopefully some better snowboarding!!! Hope you like it : )

Yesterday evening myself, Orla Doolin and some of the UK lads decided to enter the Northstar Rail Jam

The course was either a down box, down flat down or a down rail, all street style set up….pretty mellow and fun!!!

We both got to the finals, 5 girls were picked! We were pretty happy, but also pretty exhausted by this time ( discussed how we were going to join a gym to get fitter for next time!!!). 3 hours of hiking all together, they decided on the winners!! Think I rode like a penis, but Orla came 1st……woooohooooooooo!!!!!! I didnt place, so reckon I maybe came 4th/5th then : )

We arrived in Tahoe after our road trip….and its lush!!! Its so hot and sunny, proper spring riding. We are living in Kings Beach this year, 10 mins away from Northstar on the bus which is perfect!

We wanted to do some street when we got here, but there is not much snow and we haven’t got a car. But to be honest im quite happy just riding Northstar everyday and actually trying to learn some new stuff. Its pretty mellow this year so perfect for progression. And we have such a fun crew to ride with, heaps of the UK crew, Grindhouse, and also the whole of Perisher (OZ) and the BHK are here!!!

Went on a tour around the mountain and found lots of rails that they don’t have enough snow to put in this year : (

Also found Shaun White’s private park….3 massive booters and a 22ft pipe!!! Public aren’t allowed in!!

Its been so warm after riding that we have been going down to the lake to chill. Its beautiful down there!!

Really having a lovely time, will get onto some filming soon, just enjoying the riding and the sun at the mo : )

Our friends told us about a concrete ledge that you could hit around the back of Park City Ice Rink. Apparently it was really easy to get kicked off……but we managed to have a 4 hour session without anyone bothering us at all, so we were really lucky!

After the ledge we were pretty tired, but tried to hit up another spot just down the road…a mellow rainbow bridge. But the winds had got so strong and the speed was messed up so it was a no go….gutted as it looked so nice!

We had been waiting for the snow in Salt Lake city….and it finally arrived!! So we went down to the Rail Gardens, somewhere I had always wanted to go!! I was so stoked it worked out with the snow : )

Then we decided to go to Brighton for the day as we had been seeing all the sick edits from there this season. Think we timed it wrong though as it had just snowed so not everything was groomed. Also there was a comp on so some of the park was closed. But it was heaps of fun anyway and I’m glad I got to ride there : )

Then it was time to hit the road again. Really sad to leave, all of our friends in Park City looked after us so much. We stopped at the Salt Lakes on our way down to Tahoe…..

So now we are in Tahoe and its such a change from everywhere else we have been riding. Its SOOOO hot and slushy, like summer! They haven’t had much snow down here but we rode Northstar today and it was still super fun. Might actually start working on my tan!! There is lots of our friends down here so I’m sure the next 5 weeks will be rad!

On Friday, Will Radula, Rich Jonas, Sophie Addison and myself left Breckenridge for our week long road trip down to Tahoe. Here are some pics from our trip so far….

FIRST STREET RAIL of the season…..

We checked out Salt Lake City, but there was literally no snow down there. So we had to find a spot higher up nearer the snowline…..

It was a nice rail for the first one this year, although for me and Soph speed was a huge issue. One broken board (Rich) and one smashed face (Soph) later we got some shots so we were happy!

Its dumping now so reckon we might be able to do some street down in SLC in the next couple of days : )

The edits we have to do are building up, but we are trying to get them done so I will keep you updated!x

Its Presidents Weekend here in America this weekend, which means that it is super busy up on the hill. So yesterday we headed over to the boys (and girls) house for a Shred BBQ. They had literally turned their back garden into a park, it was even better than Park Lane@Breckenridge!!!!! We rode the jibs, ate some meat, and drank some cider….even did some filming! Here are some pics….

Had such a fun day, thank you so much for the boys for having us and making a rad park! Paying the price slightly today (never drinking again), so me and the Addison will start editing the footage together soon : )

So me and Sophie Addison just got back from our first session at Woodward, it was pretty fun!! Here are some pics……

This weekend I decided to enter myself into the Burton Pro Test 4 star TTR Slopestyle/ Rail Jam at Keystone. Luckily there was quite a few of us going along (Angus Leith, Scotty Penman, Cody Heirons, Simon Cudlip, Dec Powers Emilia Vanni….and of course the one and only WILL RADULA-SCOTT!!!). But unluckily, we had to get the bus at 7am in the morning!!!

DAY 1…. SLOPESTYLE

We got there bright and early and registered. For the girls it was only myself and Emila Vanni, as Sophie, Faye and Helen were down with injuries : (

We had got a practice the day before, it took me a while to get used to the jumps, they were very different to the ones in Breckenridge. The course was 3 jumps, a bonk, choice of couple of rails and a quarter pipe….. although I didn’t realize the quarter pipe was included until AFTER my runs, idiot!!

There were 17 ladies, all amazing!!! Only 6 got through to the final. Neither me or Emilia made it. But on the plus side I was kinda happy with one of my runs, actually landed some tricks (its not often this happens for me in a comp!!!) and felt I did well for me. Even managed to control my nerves a little better : ) And no, I did not use vodka to do this! So just chilled out with everyone to watch the finals. Angus Leith was the only Brit to make it through, was mega stoked for him! He did some cool moves!

DAY 2…..RAIL JAM

Another early start for the rail jam. Pretty fun course with the option of 2 different lines, 3 features on each. I really liked the course! 45 min warm us then straight in for the 20 ladies. 45 mins to get in as many runs as poss, best run counting. Managed to get 4 runs in, hiked the course once and realized that getting the chair lift was a better option as hiking in altitude is hard work!!! I was happy with my runs I think, but didn’t make the final 6, the standard again was very high!

Watched the boys for a bit (stoked for Simon Cudlip for qualifying!!!), then took some fun laps with my new friend Sabrina Burnham……a Brit chick who has super steezy style on rails and is def one to look out for! I had a really fun day : ) Then we did some comfort eating and got the bus back to Breck……hot tub time!!

Again I feel inspired by the girls in the competition and motivated to learn some stuff! Rich gets here with the camera on wednesday so going to get on some filming soon : ) Thank you to Faye for filming, I will try and get some footage up soon

So on the 1st of February I set off to Breckenridge with Sophie, Helen, Emilia and Will (lucky Will having to organize  4 girls!!!)

We enjoyed the free drink on the plane which definitely made the journey go quicker and the views out of the window more spectacular!!! (coming into Denver below)

We were all let into the country!!!! Then we had some fun at the airport whilst waiting for out bus….

We arrived in Breck, pretty jetlagged but mega MEGA excited!! Woke up quite early the next morning and headed straight to the mountain…..well the park! 2mins away from out condo!!! Couple laps then a bit of a cruise around the mountain to find our feet

Then for an explore around the town…..

I have decided that I really like Breck already, its a very cool place : )

Stupid computer has broken, but will try and keep you up to date when I can……

So I have done it, made an edit all by myself, haha! The riding isnt amazing (few zeaches!!!) but its just a fun mini edit filmed one afternoon in Mayrhofen. Hope you like it : )
